A new fight round begins; carries the round number the client shows as the turn count.
Kind event · Area Game.Fight
Starts a new round: every fighter has played once and the timeline starts over.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT
1. Store FightNewRoundEvent.round_number as the current round. It REPLACES the
previous value; it is not an increment to apply.
2. Count round-based durations from it (buff and effect durations, cooldowns
expressed in rounds, challenge conditions).
3. SEND NOTHING BACK.
WHAT THE CLIENT DOES. It keeps the round as the fight's current turn count, publishes
it to the end-turn widget (which shows it) and, from 3.7 on, prints the localized
"turn N" line in the chat. The turn of the first fighter of the round arrives
separately, with FightTurnEvent.
FROM 3.7 THE MESSAGE CARRIES A SECOND int32, FightNewRoundEvent.order, which the
client files as the position inside the round of its new FightTurn(round, order)
value.
When you may send it
- Requires
character_loadedinferred
Related messages
- Unsolicited - nothing you send causes this the server announces each round on its own when every fighter has played; no request asks for it
